  • 500 g beef mince (20% to 30% fat)
  • 2 bunches garlic chives (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp apple juice
  • ¼ tsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp sesame oil
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp white pepper
  • ½ tbsp neutral tasting oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all filling ingredients until well mixed.
  2. Place one tablespoon of filling in the center of each wrapper, fold, and seal tightly.
  3. Boil water in a large pot and cook dumplings in batches for about 3-4 minutes or until they float.
  4. Use a slotted spoon to transfer cooked dumplings to a plate.
  5. Serve warm with chili oil or soy dipping sauce.
