Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 stalks green onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- Kosher salt
- Fresh cracked pepper
- 36 dumpling wrappers
- 2–4 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, shredded cabbage, minced garlic, sliced green onions, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Fill a small bowl with water. Wet the edges of a dumpling wrapper with your finger. Place about a tablespoon of filling in the center and fold the wrapper in half. Press to seal tightly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Cook dumplings in batches until golden brown on the bottom.
- Add water to the pan, cover immediately to steam for about 3-4 minutes until water is absorbed; remove lid and cook another 30 seconds for crispiness.
- Repeat with remaining dumplings and serve hot with dipping sauces.
