Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 lb russet potatoes
- 1/2 white onion
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- Dill pickles (chopped)
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tsp. yellow mustard
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1 vine tomato (chopped)
- handful white onions (chopped)
- handful shredded iceberg lettuce
- 1/4 cup dill pickle chips
- 1 tbsp. dill pickle juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Wash and chop the russet potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
- In a medium pan over medium heat, add olive oil and the chopped potatoes with water. Season with salt and pepper, cooking until softened (5-10 minutes). Transfer to a baking dish.
- In the same pan, cook ground beef and chopped onions until browned. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and mustard; mix with potatoes in the baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and cover with foil; bake for 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Meanwhile, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, chopped pickles, and dill pickle juice in a bowl for your sauce.
- Once baked, remove foil and top with sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles before serving.
