  • 23 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Peel and quarter the russet potatoes. Boil them in salted water until fork-tender (15-20 minutes).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook chicken until golden brown on both sides (5-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
  3. Melt butter in the same skillet; sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Sprinkle flour, stir for 1 minute, then gradually whisk in chicken broth. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard and heavy cream; mix well. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Drain the boiled potatoes, mash with butter, cream, and salt until smooth.
  6. Serve mashed potatoes topped with chicken and creamy sauce.
