Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 18 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened and divided
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
  2. Melt 6 tablespoons of butter in the microwave and mix with cocoa powder until smooth.
  3. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  4. In another bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the remaining butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Gradually incorporate the flour mixture into the wet ingredients, followed by the milk. Mix until smooth, then fold in the melted cocoa mixture.
  6. Gently stir in chocolate chips and peanut butter chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour into the prepared loaf pan and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes, uncovering for an additional 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
