  • 20 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • garlic powder
  • smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Season steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Sear for 4–5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and milk; stir to combine. Gradually add parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Add cooked tortellini and sliced steak back into the skillet. Toss gently to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
  5. Serve hot garnished with parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.
