Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth or dry white grape juice
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breasts in half lengthwise and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
- In the same skillet, add flour and minced garlic, stirring for about one minute.
- Gradually pour in chicken broth (or grape juice) while whisking until smooth. Allow to reduce by half.
- Stir in heavy cream until thickened, then mix in grated parmesan until melted.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it. Adjust seasoning and garnish with parsley before serving.
