  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 lb. pasta (bucatini, fettuccine, spaghetti)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. lemon zest
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 cups finely chopped yellow onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 3/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta until just under al dente.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook seasoned chicken until golden brown; set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic before adding cream and broth; simmer until thickened.
  4. Combine cooked pasta with sauce; add sliced chicken on top and garnish before serving.
