Ingredients
- 10 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1 tsp Earl Grey extract (or vanilla extract)
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 2 tsp finely ground Earl Grey leaves
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine room temperature butter, icing sugar, all-purpose flour, sea salt, Earl Grey leaves, and extract. Pulse until the dough forms.
- Divide the dough into two portions and roll each into logs about 1½ inches in diameter. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cut the chilled logs into slices approximately ¼ to ½ inch thick. Place on a lined baking pan with space between each cookie.
- Bake for around 10 minutes or until barely golden on the bottom. Transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
