  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp basil paste
  • 36 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 3 cups chopped rotisserie chicken
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in cream cheese until melted.
  3. Add heavy cream, garlic powder, basil paste, and salt; stir well. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir in parmesan until melted.
  4. In a casserole dish, layer half the tortellini, followed by chicken and mozzarella, drizzling half of the cream mixture on top. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and broil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
