- 1 kg potatoes
- 1 garlic clove (crushed)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp fine salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp rapeseed/canola oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220 °C (425 °F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed garlic, paprika, fine salt, black pepper, ground cumin, chili powder, and dried oregano.
- Peel and cut potatoes into uniform cubes (1.5cm).
- Rinse potato cubes in cold water to remove excess starch; drain and pat dry.
- Toss potato cubes with rapeseed oil until evenly coated.
- Add the spice mix to the potatoes and stir well for even seasoning.
- Grease a baking sheet with oil and spread the potatoes evenly.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, turning halfway through.
