  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1 garlic clove (crushed)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp fine salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp rapeseed/canola oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 °C (425 °F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed garlic, paprika, fine salt, black pepper, ground cumin, chili powder, and dried oregano.
  3. Peel and cut potatoes into uniform cubes (1.5cm).
  4. Rinse potato cubes in cold water to remove excess starch; drain and pat dry.
  5. Toss potato cubes with rapeseed oil until evenly coated.
  6. Add the spice mix to the potatoes and stir well for even seasoning.
  7. Grease a baking sheet with oil and spread the potatoes evenly.
  8. Roast in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, turning halfway through.
