  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the bite-sized chicken pieces with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat and sauté the chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, honey, soy sauce, and crushed red pepper flakes; simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, mix in grated Parmesan cheese until creamy, then toss in the cooked pasta until well coated.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
