Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey (or brown sugar)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 inch ginger (peeled and grated)
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (and 1 tablespoon water)

Instructions

  1. Add chicken to the Instant Pot along with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, ketchup, and hot sauce. Stir to combine.
  2. Cover the pot and set the valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 3 minutes.
  3. Release steam carefully by turning the vent to release position.
  4. Remove the lid and select the sauté setting. Stir in honey and sesame oil.
  5. Make a cornstarch slurry by mixing cornstarch with water; add to the pot and stir until thickened.
  6. Serve over rice or noodles, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
