Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Mint Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz white or dark chocolate, melted (for coating)
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Sprinkles, crushed Oreos (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Mint Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and using a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill the truffles for at least 30 minutes or freeze for 15 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth. If using white chocolate, add green food coloring if desired.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate until evenly coated and let excess drip off using a fork.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles or crushed Oreos before the chocolate sets.
  8. Chill again until the coating hardens completely.
