- 8 oz jumbo shells
- 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
- 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp minced parsley (fresh or dry)
- 1 tbsp minced basil (fresh or dry)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 3 garlic cloves (pressed)
- Salt
- Fresh cracked black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 tsp dry oregano
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Boil water in a large pot, add salt, then cook jumbo shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, parsley, basil, garlic powder, pressed garlic cloves, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix well.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce in the baking dish. Stuff each shell with the cheese mixture and place them seam-side up in the dish. Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle additional mozzarella and oregano.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
