  • 8 oz jumbo shells
  • 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp minced parsley (fresh or dry)
  • 1 tbsp minced basil (fresh or dry)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 garlic cloves (pressed)
  • Salt
  • Fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp dry oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Boil water in a large pot, add salt, then cook jumbo shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, parsley, basil, garlic powder, pressed garlic cloves, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix well.
  4. Spread half of the marinara sauce in the baking dish. Stuff each shell with the cheese mixture and place them seam-side up in the dish. Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle additional mozzarella and oregano.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
