  • 2 lbs beef steak
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 8 oz broccoli
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 bunch green onions
  • 2 tbsp oil (avocado or olive)
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and ginger to create the marinade; set aside.
  2. Chop the bell pepper into strips, cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces, slice the onion into half rings, and chop the green onion.
  3. Slice the beef against the grain into thin strips.
  4. Preheat wok or pan with oil and cook chopped vegetables (excluding green onions) until golden brown; remove from pan.
  5. In the same pan, add beef strips and cook over high heat until browned.
  6. Return vegetables and green onions to the pan with beef, add marinade, toss well, and cook on low for 2-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Serve as is or with your choice of rice or noodles.
