Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 (8-ounce) blocks cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 (8-ounce) tub Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177ºC). Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and bake for 12 to 14 minutes until golden. Allow it to cool completely on a wire rack.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened cream cheese and sour cream using an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add confectioner's sugar and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in the Cool Whip until just blended.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.
  6. Before serving, top with cherry pie filling and cut into squares.
