Ingredients
- 4 black tea bags
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup cherry juice (unsweetened or lightly sweetened)
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen pitted cherries
- 1–2 tbsp honey or sugar (optional)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Ice for serving
- Fresh mint and lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a kettle or pot. Remove from heat.
- Steep the 4 black tea bags in the hot water for 5–7 minutes to develop flavor.
- Remove tea bags and stir in cherry juice, pitted cherries, sweetener (if desired), and vanilla extract.
- Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least one hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices if desired.
