  • 1 box (15.25 ounces) Duncan Hines Classic White Cake Mix
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1¼ cups water
  • â…“ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large egg whites
  • ½ cup mint syrup (substituted with fruit juice)
  • 2 cups thick hot fudge topping
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip (or similar whipped topping)
  • Chopped Andes Mints (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, all-purpose flour, water, vegetable oil, and egg whites. Mix until well blended.
  3. Stir in the mint syrup gently.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and bake for about 27 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool before cutting it into two layers.
  6. Spread half of the hot fudge on the first layer, top with the second layer, and spread remaining fudge on top.
  7. Mix Cool Whip with additional mint syrup and spread over the fudge layer.
  8. Garnish as desired and serve chilled.
