- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese
- 4 slices ripe tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, sliced
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season each chicken breast with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper on both sides.
- Spray the grill with non-stick cooking spray and place the seasoned chicken breasts on it. Grill until nearly cooked through.
- Top each chicken breast with a slice of mozzarella cheese. Close the grill lid and cook for an additional few minutes until the cheese melts.
- Remove from the grill and add fresh tomato slices and basil on top. Drizzle with balsamic reduction before serving.
