Ingredients
- 12 ounces uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
- 16 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Boil the elbow macaroni in salted water for 5 minutes; drain well.
- In a large bowl, whisk together evaporated milk, regular milk, sour cream, eggs, salt, mustard, white pepper, and cayenne pepper until combined.
- Add the drained noodles to the mixture along with melted butter and three-quarters of the cheddar cheese. Stir to combine.
- Spray the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray and pour in the macaroni mixture. Top with remaining cheese.
- Cover and cook on low for about 3 hours or until set in the center and golden brown around the edges.
