  • 12 ounces uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
  • 16 ounces shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Boil the elbow macaroni in salted water for 5 minutes; drain well.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together evaporated milk, regular milk, sour cream, eggs, salt, mustard, white pepper, and cayenne pepper until combined.
  3. Add the drained noodles to the mixture along with melted butter and three-quarters of the cheddar cheese. Stir to combine.
  4. Spray the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray and pour in the macaroni mixture. Top with remaining cheese.
  5. Cover and cook on low for about 3 hours or until set in the center and golden brown around the edges.
