Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 tablespoons salted butter (melted)
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 16 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 envelopes Dream Whip
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 cups strawberries (sliced)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup cane sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, flour, and chopped pecans until well-blended. Press into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Allow it to cool completely.
  2. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth using a hand mixer. Gradually add Dream Whip while mixing, then pour in whole milk and vanilla extract. Mix well and gradually incorporate powdered sugar until fully combined.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pecan crust evenly. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sliced strawberries with water and cane sugar; stir until dissolved. Mix in corn starch until thickened before pouring over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight to set properly before cutting into squares and serving.
